When it comes time to replace your boat’s carpet, the most common question consumers have is “What is the difference between marine grade boat carpeting and the outdoor carpeting offered at local carpet and hardware stores?”

Though there are many similarities, and the look or feel is very similar, there are many key features which make these two carpet styles very different. These specific features are the determining factors of how long your new carpeting lasts. Not only will marine grade carpeting last longer, but it will also maintain its look and feel under the harsh marine elements for years to come.

Marine Grade Boat Carpet Features:

  • Rubber Backed
  • Ravel Resistant
  • Fade/UV Resistant
  • Stain Resistant
  • Mold/Mildew Resistant
  • Rot Resistant
  • Weather-proof
  • Polypropylene Yarn
  • Non-Flammable
  • 3 Year Warranty
  • Porous Backing for Quick Drying

Though some of these features may also be found in standard outdoor carpet, you will notice one major difference. The one key factor which makes these two styles of carpet so different is the carpet’s rubber backing. Marine grade boat carpet has a true rubber backing which the polypropylene UV resistant yarn is directly woven into. This enables the carpet to be breathable, making it resistant to moisture which causes mold, mildew, and rot overtime. Due to constant exposure of your boat’s carpet to the harsh marine environment, the above features are crucial to look for when searching for replacement carpeting for your boat. Many carpeting suppliers and stores will endorse their outdoor carpet for replacement on boats, but the fact of the matter is when boat manufacturers are installing carpeting, they always use marine grade carpeting.

There are many reasons why you shouldn’t use the outdoor carpeting you find a local carpet and hardware stores. What you will find with almost all outdoor carpeting is that it has an indoor carpet backing with rubber applied to it. This primary backing is a woven or non-woven fabric in which the yarn is inserted by tufting needles. After the yarn is inserted, a secondary backing that consists of another fabric is laminated onto the primary backing to increase its dimensional stability. Due to these organic and fibrous backings, it is almost certain that deterioration will happen quickly with any marine application. Not only will these backings deteriorate, but the threading will disassemble from the rubber applied to its backing. With the carpet having multiple backings it creates breathability issues, resulting in excess moisture underneath the carpet causing sever mold and mildew damage. In most cases not only will the carpet disassemble, but it will also cause future issues with the wood flooring and decking of the boat. Overall outdoor carpet may be a cheaper and more convenient solution, but in the long run it may turn into a much more costly project.

When the time comes to replace your boat’s carpet, make sure you look for the recommended replacement marine grade carpet, manufactured to handle the harsh marine environments and abuse. Not only will it look better and last longer, but it will protect your investment.

Product launch campaigns are extremely effective at building excitement and ultimately boosting sales during your launch. New and even veteran marketers often feel overwhelmed with planning a launch, but this tested email sequence will help you succeed with your launch.

You can use this for a product you’ve created – or you can use it for a product you’re planning to create live. If you’re planning to teach live, you can adapt your product as you get feedback during the launch. Even if you’ve already created the product, plan to record a bonus session if you get feedback during the launch – that way you know your product is keyed exactly to what your subscribers want.

Remember, once you’ve taught your live class series, you can turn the recordings into a product. Go back and edit your launch campaign to remove references to the live class, then put it in your autoresponder sequence to create an autopilot, evergreen launch.

Here’s the email sequence outline:

Preselling Email #1: Preselling email

Title this email “What are you struggling with?” and include a few sentences asking your prospect what they’re struggling with in your niche. Something like “What’s your biggest goal in XYZ? What are the 3 biggest things holding you back?” is a good question. Invite your subscribers to hit “reply” and let you know their thoughts. A personal reply is a good idea to build rapport.

Preselling Email #2: Here are the answers to yesterday’s questions…

Highlight a few of the challenges you received yesterday (you’ll probably notice the same big ones came up in many of the replies) and give a brief suggestion for each.

Preselling Email #3: How would it feel to XYZ…

Ask your prospect how it would feel to achieve the results they’ll achieve when they go through your product. For example: “how would it feel to know you could take your dog for a walk without having to worry about her jerking endlessly on the leash?” or “how would it feel to have a real, open conversation about what’s going on in your teenager’s heart?” These questions stir your prospect’s imagination and make them hungry for that result.

Sales Email #1: Here is my brand new XYZ training program (or class, etc.)

This is your main launch email, and it can be a simple paragraph stating you’ve released your product, or opened enrollment for your training program / class series. You can make the hyperlink to the product the same as the headline on your sales page.

Sales Email #2: Q&A About (Product Name)

You’ll likely receive questions about your new product – so you can answer the top 3-4 in this email. Open with “To everyone who has purchased (Product Name), congratulations. I’ve received some questions about the new training (class, etc.):” and list the questions. Be sure to link back to the sales page a few times!

Sales Email #3: Here’s what you get with the new XYZ training program

List out what your prospect gets in the program. Bullet points about the program fit well here – you can pull them off of your sales letter. You can swap Sales Email #2 and #3 if that seems to fit your sequence better.

Sales Email #4: What are you going to miss out on?

Point out something they may miss out on if they don’t sign up for your training now. It can be bonuses, but it’s good to highlight some results they won’t get.

Sales Email #5: Your final chance to get into this program live

If you’re teaching a live program, this email is very effective at getting fence-sitters to buy!

Sales Email #6: The training program was amazing, here’s what you missed:

Send this email the day after the first live session of your training program. You can actually send a recording of the first session along with a message letting them know if they want the next 5 weeks (or whatever the amount is), they can sign up – let them know this is the last opportunity they’ll be able to slip under the table and get in.

Sales Email #7: Final chance to get into the live training with me

Send this “last call” email the day before you run the second session of your live training.

After this one, go back and adapt the presell and initial sales emails for the evergreen product and slot it into your campaign. Future customers will get the campaign and be able to purchase the recordings from you.

Using this sequence generates excitement in your subscribers and results for your launch. Don’t let the launch sequence stop you – outline your training and write your first prelaunch email today and you can use this sequence to guide the rest of your successful product launch.

Before tooth extraction has to be done, the patient is usually undergoing a thorough dental examination. Your dentist must know not just your full medical history but your dental history as well. It is very important to avoid any health risk issues like heart problems or any allergies from antibiotics or anesthetic.

Toothache is one of the most painful things you can experience. Once your tooth is severely damaged, the only solution it can get is tooth removal. You may visit your dentist for this procedure.

For simple tooth extraction

Most of us are afraid of extracting our teeth and our dentists are aware of this, so they will give you local anesthesia to numb the tooth and the gums before removing your tooth. Dental sedation is also recommended for patient with dental anxiety to feel more relaxed.

A simple tooth removal can be done with the extraction forceps without fracturing. To loosen the tooth, the dentist moves it back and forth from the socket. If the tooth is hard to loose, the instrument called 'elevator or' luxatar 'is usually used to break the periodontal tissues from the jawbone to where it is attached. The tooth can be pulled out with the forceps once it is already loosened.

For surgical tooth extraction

This procedure is usually done with following instances.

  • When teeth do not have enough tooth structure left and is impossible for the extraction tools to forgive anything.
  • Teeth with curved roots
  • Impacted teeth – these are the teeth that have not impressed above the gum line.

In this method, the tooth has to be cut into small pieces to do the tooth extraction. After that, the tooth socket is carefully clean so that no puss or debris will be left.

Suturing or stitching is needed. Most of today's scholars are using the dissolvable thread so you do not need to come back to them for removal of stitches.

For multiple tooth extracts

In case several or most of your teeth must be removed, general anesthesia may be used. This is much stronger than the local one and it makes you sleep during the entire process.

Most of the patients prefer to have multiple tooth removal done at once to save time for dental visits and to experience the discomfort just once. Another reason is for preparation of full denture replacement.

Not everyone is capable of this procedure. Your medical condition must be perfect to end the stress of multiple tooth extracts.

Blood clot formation from the tooth socket is very significant for healing process. Your dentist will require you to bite down wet cotton gauze for about 30 minutes or more for blood clot formation. Be careful not to enter any food debris and other irritants to the empty tooth socket to protect it from bacteria and not to cause any infection.

Things to do after tooth extracts procedure

  • Do not lie down – lying down immediately after the extraction may cause bleeding. Use extra pillows so you keep your head elevated.
  • Protect the extraction site – chew on the other side of mouth for at least 24 hours. Soft diet is necessary and you must avoid placing your finger into your wound just to check it out. Wash your hand thoroughly before changing the gauze.
  • Do not smoke
  • When you brush your teeth, avoid the area near the extraction for 24 hours or until your wound is totally healed.
  • Do not rinse at the first day. You can do gentle rinsing after second day using mild antiseptic rinses.
  • Avoid strenuous physical activities for the first 3 to 5 days for it may cause unnecessary bleeding.

Following your dentist's instruction is the safe way for immediate tooth extraction healing. This is not a simple matter to be taken for granted for it may cause serious health problems when complications occurred.

If you are afraid of going to the dentist, you should look into sedition dentistry. An office that performs this can help calm your fears so you can actually get through any procedures you need. Before you choose an office like this, you should get an idea of what to look for.

You need to make sure the dentist there have been performing sedation dentistry for a while. Since various medications are used, this kind of offering can be dangerous when done by people who are not experienced. Make sure the whole staff has training so they know what medications are safe, and they know the proper dosages. They also need to know how to prepare patients to get the medication, and they should be able to explain all your options to you. Otherwise, you risk a routine procedure going wrong.

You should also find out what the payment options are. In many cases, sedation dentistry costs more since you need to pay for the medication that is administered. Of course, it is often worth it since it allows you to keep up your dental health without feeling anxious. But you may need some options for payment, especially since insurance may not cover it. For this reason, look for a financing plan that you can apply for, which will allow you to pay a little every month until your bill is paid off completely. Most dental offices offer this kind of convenience.

If you are still trying to find a sedation dentistry office, you should find one that uses procedures that appeal to you. For example, if you prefer laughing gas, you should find a dentist who is experienced with this option. You may prefer taking pills or having medication injected intravenously. Just consider your preferences, and then look for an office that can use the procedure you want. Of course, make sure the staff has done it several times so you can feel comfortable with the visit. Otherwise, the entire point of sedition dentistry will have been missed since you will feel anxious anyway.

Fortunately, many offices now practice this kind of treatment since so many people rarely go to the dentist simply out of fear. This can clearly lead to bad dental health, which is why it is so important to feel comfortable with your dentist, even if you have to take medication in order to feel this way. If you want the best results, you should spend some time carefully considering all your options.

Spring is a time for rebirth. A call to leave the darkness of winter behind and head outside for sunshine and longer days. The shift from winter to spring happens quickly, providing the baseline truth in the phrase “spring has sprung”. You may be shoveling the driveway one day and then see a skunk cabbage pushing up through the snow the next. The plant world is undergoing the transformation from winter storage and dormancy to spring growth and expansion. This makes spring a wonderful time to get outside and forage.

Before heading out on your foraging journey there are a few tips and tricks to keep you and the plant world safe:

  • Identify the plant correctly. Always be 100% sure of the plant’s identification before you harvest and consume. Many plants have poisonous look-alikes so it is imperative you can ID with certainty. Pay attention to the old adage “when in doubt, throw it out”. There are a number of great plant ID books on the market that cover most geographical areas. You may also find foraging classes in your area which can be a fun way to learn about local plants.
  • Practice sustainable harvesting for any plants you harvest. Never take more than you need and be sure to leave enough for the plants to survive and prosper. Keep in mind that unless you are eradicating an invasive species, foraging should never negatively impact the survival of the plant population. Take time to learn what plants are invasive in your area and also what plants are endangered and should never be harvested.
  • Forage in areas you know are clean and have not been treated with chemicals. Be wary of foraging along roadsides and under power lines.
  • Harvest underground storage organs; bulbs, tubers, rhizomes, etc. with additional consideration as harvesting can kill the plant. Early spring and late fall are the best times to harvest underground storage organs as the plant’s energy is conserved below ground. In late spring and summer, the plant will redirect energy to above ground growth and production of flowers and seed. A few examples of bountiful roots to forage in spring are chicory, dandelion, and burdock.
  • Seek out leafy greens as they are the stars of spring foraging. This fresh food is available long before our gardens start producing. In most areas, there are quite a few leafy greens to choose from. Dandelion, chickweed, lamb’s quarter, garlic mustard, and violet are all commonly foraged greens. Do some research to find which greens are best eaten raw and which taste best steamed or sautéed.

Get out your rubber boots and garden tools and head outside for a foraging adventure. Foraging is free and can provide a fresh and delicious addition to your next meal. Take full advantage of spring foraging as summer is just around the corner!

Spectacular Santorini shines like a glamorous jewel in the blue waters of the Aegean Sea. Completing the set of Cyclades islands, Santorini itself is set on the site of a submerged volcano and is home to the famously breathtaking caldera which gives the island its distinct shape. Life on the island itself is pure luxury; secluded villas with infinity pools, private Cliffside suites and honeymoon hideaways create an upscale vibe infused with a divine decadence.

The island has a distinct culture and a depth of history, and the local settlements are made up of villages, each of which vary in architecture and development and have their own unique charm. The romance of Santorini shines through with the sublime nature of its sunsets; as the sun sinks it illuminates the ocean and lights up the caldera, a spectacle which draws thousands of visitors daily.

Santorini is a luxury destination: some of the places to stay in Santorini are fantastically opulent and cater to a glitterati of chic visitors from across the globe. Whatever the budget, traveler who come to Santorini’s shores will enjoy the evenings watching in awe as the sky changes colour and bask in extravagance of the Greek holiday haven. Days on the island are filled with delicious dining and the chance to recline on your own private terrace among the jigsaw of quintessentially Greek white block buildings, as the sun washes over you and you indulge in the delights of life on Santorini.

Spend balmy evenings in buzzing Fira, the biggest town on the island and the lively heart of Santorini. With its abundance of restaurants, bars and nightclubs, Fira is where you should stay on Santorini if you want to party until the early hours and then spend your days exploring the island, and browsing the many shops in the town in the shadow of the beautiful volcano in the distance.

Fira is the perfect place to base yourself in order to explore all that Santorini has to offer. All of the bus routes that traverse the island begin and end in the town meaning that you can travel all over the island. If you don’t fancy catching the bus then it is simple to rent a scooter or even your own car and travel at your own pace. Hotels in Fira town are more expensive than neighboring villages but there are plenty of accommodation options to choose from.

Close to Fira, quiet and placid Imerovigli is the dream spot for honeymooners. The village is one of the most expensive places to stay on the island, but with breathtaking views of the caldera lagoon and romantic luxury love nest hideaways, it offers a perfect slice of secluded Santorini.

The charming town doesn’t have a beach but does have awesome 4 and 5-star hotels to choose from, many offering beautifully designed private suites, some of which are built into the cliff and have views of the volcano. From Imerovigli it is easy to travel to nearby towns; a lot of hotels offer a free shuttle bus, although local busses also connect to busy Fira.

Kamari is considerably cheaper than villages with views of the Caldera, but what it lacks in famous views it makes up for in its beautiful beach. If you are visiting Santorini with children then staying in Kamari is a great choice of location. The family friendly village boasts an expanse of sandy beach dotted with little local bars and restaurants, supermarkets and shops, meaning long days spent playing on the shoreline and evenings enjoying delicious meals with your family.

This is the place to stay in Santorini if your budget is a little tight, and the best priced hotel rooms are usually found outside of the peak summer season. With most of the accommodation in easy walking distance to the beach, there is no need to take a bus or taxi to reach the water as in other towns on the island.

Individuals are often worried about the expense of insurance especially dental insurance plans. There are many things to consider when shopping for a dental insurance plan especially if the dental insurance plan is not offered through work. If you do not have a dental insurance plan, you may wind up with a large dental bill to have the work performed or you may not be able to get the work done because of the amount. Dental insurance plans are there to help the individual with their needs.

You will want to consider every option. In other words consider the savings versus the cost of not having a dental insurance plan. You may be surprised at the amount you will spend for a dental insurance plan, but you may be shocked at just how much dental work costs if you do not have the dental insurance plan.

Most procedures are close to four hundred to over a thousand dollars for minimal work. A cleaning may be two hundred or less, but fillings and other work is very expensive.

Finding A low Cost Dental Insurance

You can find dental insurance plans that are sixty-five dollars or sometimes less a month depending on the deductible and coverage, you wish to have. This means you can afford the dental insurance and work while saving a significant amount of income.

Here are a few things to consider if you have a dental insurance plan through work. Employers either offer two types of plans. One dental insurance plan is where you have one cleaning per year and full coverage for fillings, bridges, and other work for a small fee. The other plan offers more coverage’s and a deductible so that you can chose whichever dentist you wish rather than the one on the HMO list.

Insurance Through Work

Your work may even help you pay for a percentage of your dental insurance plan to help lower the monthly payments. These policies are usually only offered to full time employees especially if the company is willing to pay a percentage. You may have the option as a part time employee to take advantage of the dental insurance plan with lower rates, but you would have to pay the entire amount instead of having help.

Dental insurance plans may leave you with a bill at the end depending on the type of coverage you have. If you have a deductible and an eighty/twenty, plan then you will be liable for twenty percent of the visit as well as the office visit charge. The above information is very important when you are considering purchasing a dental insurance plan to help you get the work you need.

Hotels are places that provide accommodation and other services to people who want a place to stay temporarily. These places have different services and charge accordingly. They range from a small bed and breakfast to posh hotels which have facilities like spa, swimming pool and so on. Hotels are of different kinds and some of these stand out due to their unique features.

Some hotels are constructed by using trees. These are generally for nature lovers and are often found in sanctuaries. A very good example of the tree house hotel is the Costa Rica Tree House which is located in Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge in Costa Rica. Some of them are transformed into one from a nuclear bunker. The Null Stern Hotel in Teufen in Appenzellerland in Switzerland is an example of such a hotel. Some of them were made in caves. They generally have rooms under the ground which is built using modern technologies. From outside it mostly looks like entering a cave. Example of such cave places are The Cuevas Pedro Antonio de Alarcón in Guadix in Spain.

There is also something called a capsule hotel. This is generally found in Japan. In these hotels people sleep in the same room in different stacks. There are hotels that are made of ice. These hotels generally melt a little during the summer and spring season and are built again. The Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi in Sweden is a very good example of an ice hotel. Garden Hotels are hotels which are known due to their extraordinarily beautiful gardens. These make a very picturesque hotel. Gravetye Manor is one that is known for its breathtaking rose garden.

Due to the modern technologies people have also come up with underwater hotels. These have rooms which are under the water and people can see the water life all around them.

We all are familiar with the dentists and the work they do. We have heard a lot about them especially by our parents when we used to listen to different tooth fairy stories during our childhood. The dentists are playing very important role in healthcare profession, although they do not perform the major surgeries very often but most of us understand how do we feel when we have a tooth ache? Or when we go for the fills? To take the work load off from the dentist, there are the dental assistants that help them to run their office smooth by handling the both office administrative and clinical responsibilities. We should not confuse the dental assistants with dental hygienists, because they are licensed to carry out other responsibilities as well.

While working about the office administration, the dentist assistants make phone calls for the confirmation of appointments; they also maintain the patient's history. Besides this, they also keep the patient's medical record, receive payments and manage the dental materials and instruments as per the requirements. On the clinical side, a dental assistant cleans and monitors the medical equipment. They also sterilize the instruments required for the patient on the dental chair. They explain the treatment procedure and make patients comfortable on the dental chair. They also create temporary crowns, and dispose the contaminated material inside the mouth.

To become an assistant dental, high school students must take subjects like biology, office practice, healthcare and chemistry. Becoming an Entry Level dental assistant in many States does not require trainings and formal education. But in 2009 the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) has approved 281 dental- assistance training programs. Most of the programs are for one year which leads to the certificate or diploma level, and two years programs lead to associate degree. These programs also help students to improve their skills by getting theoretical knowledge in the class room and also in laboratory and some clinical work to improve their skills in dental assistance. There are some private voluntary schools offering 4-6 month courses on dental assistance, however these course are not accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.

Most these assistants learn and improve their skills while working and from their experiences. Initially they learn the procedures, instruments names, daily routine work methods, patient relationship, and necessary office duties to run office smoothly. It depends on the individual. How quick they can learn about their duties; however it may take few months to start working without any assistance.

There is no requirement of the certification for job purposes; however some US States require the license or the certificate to perform the radiology methods within dentist's office. To become a certified dental assistant, you need to pass the exam administrated by DANB. The requirements for the exam is that the candidate must graduate a dental assistance program accredited from CODA or must have 2 years full time experience or 4 years part time experience. You will become a CDA Certified Dental assistant after passing the exam and this will open the new future doors for you. By getting the certification you can work in big dental organizations as well.
