The Ford X-Plan is a new vehicle purchase program that is also known as the Partner Recognition Program . Ford Motor Company offers this discount program to their employees, retirees, spouses and other household members of selected Tier 1 suppliers, business partners, fleet partners and special organizations having a certain relationship with the Ford Motor Company. In order to prove you are a member of the household, you must bring your driver's license with the same address as the plan recipient. This program is offered by invitation only.

An eligible employee or retiree can create up to two PINs a year. A PIN is a unique number that is required for the purchase of a vehicle under the X-Plan. The employee or retiree generates the PIN for either themselves or the qualifying family member who is looking to purchase a vehicle. You need to bring this PIN number with you to a Ford dealership to secure the X-Plan discount.

Once you have your PIN number, you must bring it with you to the dealership. When you are approached by a salesperson, it is important that you immediately establish yourself as an X-Plan eligible customer. You are only given two PINs a year, so it is critical that if you decide not to buy a car at that dealership, they cancel the transaction so your PIN is still valid. So, if you are looking for new cars Weatherford, but decide to purchase a from a car dealership fort worth, make sure you have your PIN transaction cancelled or you will be able to make the purchase in the second location.

Not every car qualifies for the Partner Recognition Program. Before you head over to a dealership though, you can look online to find out which cars are available and which cars are not. Only the vehicle is covered by the plan. Any dealer installed options conversion packages, extended warranties, accessories, etc., are not covered by the Plan and must be agreed upon between you and the dealer. When buying the car, the purchaser is eligible for most other public incentives. Some offers are not compatible with this offer. You will rarely see a lower price than what is offered with the X-Plan unless you see a dealership trying very hard to get traffic or move older inventory. It is okay to ask to see the paperwork on the actual X-Plan pricing to confirm the dealership is giving you the full discount.

As of right now, there is no expiration date for this plan, however Ford Motor Company notes that they reserve the right to modify the program, remove eligibility, or cancel the program at any time.

If you're afraid of going to the dentist, you're not alone. A British Dental Association survey revealed that 25% of British people experience some degree of fear of going to the dentist, or dental phobia, and a survey by the American Association of Endodontists showed that a massive 80% of American adults are afraid of the dentist and, of those, half say that their fear prevails them from scheduling a check-up. So, what exactly is dental fear and what can be done to get over it?

There are several levels of dental fear. On the low end of the scale is a simple fear of the unknown which may manifest itself as a simple relation to visit the dentist. On the other end of the scale, there is full-blown dental phobia. Here anything related to dentistry or dental care, such as an advertisement for mouthwash, can induce severe feelings of stress or panic.

There are many possible causes of dental fear, including negative childhood experiences at the dentists, fear of loss of control, fear of needles or the dentist's drill, or that one's personal space is being invaded.

Whatever you decide to do, the best way to get over your fear of the dentist long term is first to accept that dental care by a skilled dentist is essential to your overall health and well-being, and then to make dental treatment almost unnecessary, so that you do not actually need anything beyond the occasional check-up and cleaning. Take good care of your teeth by brushing twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, floss regularly and look after your general health. By doing so, you'll soon get into a cycle where you see your dentist just twice a year for routine check-ups that are over in just a few minutes and without any pain. When you get to this stage, you'll be able to realize that visiting the dentist is no longer a major cause of concern for you, and is actually just "routine."

Everyone knows that brushing and flossing at least twice daily is vital for good dental health. Unfortunately, even the most diligent brushing and flossing is incapable of keeping your teeth clean and healthy over time. This is why family dentists and cosmetic dentists similarly recommend a professional teeth cleaning at least once every six months in addition to regular self-care through brushing and flossing.

Even when you brush your teeth every morning and every night, a regular toothbrush is not able to remove all the plaque that forms on your teeth during the day and at night while you sleep. The plaque you are unable to remove builds up, and over time it mineralizes, meaning it hardens. When plaque mineralizes and hardens, it turns into a substance called tartar. In addition to being very unsightly, tartar is downright impossible to remove with regular brushing and like plaque, it builds up over time without professional cleanings.

A tartar build-up is bad news in many ways. Tartar will give your teeth a yellow, crusty appearance rather than the brilliant white that is a staple of a "million dollar smile." Tartar does not smell too great, either, and it's a leading culprit when it comes to halitosis (bad breath). Finally, when tarter builds up on your teeth, it contributes to the calcium on your tooth enamel breaking down. This speeds up the development of cavities.

Typically, a professional cleaning begins with tooth scaling, which your dental hygienist will complete using a handheld tooth scaler. This is the somewhat scary-looking metal contraption you've probably seen at the dentist's office with the hook-shaped metal point on one end. Truth be told, this device is nothing to be scared of and its use is not only painless but vital for loosing up calcified tartar so that it can be removed from your teeth.

The next step is tooth polishing, which is done with a specialized electric brush featuring a small round brushing surface which spins quickly as the hygienist uses it to clean your teeth. This not only removes all the remaining tartar, but it also polishes the surface of your teeth which makes it more difficult for plaque to build up between now and your next cleaning.

If your tartar buildup is severe, your dental hygienist may also elect to perform a procedure known as debridement. This is a more aggressive approach where an ultrasonic device, periodontal scaler, or saline solution is used to break up the tartar which was not able to be loosened with normal tooth scaling. After this is completed, the tartar is removed.

There is no reason not to schedule a professional teeth cleaning at least every six months. For one thing, it is a very affordable procedure.
